Sarasvati is the city of knowledge, present and past. An endless maze of bookshelves and scrolls, with only orbs of light floating about to keep you company. But the city has a dark side, for all those who enter it in search of knowledge, never leave. For in their search of wisdom, for every question answered, two more appear. And never content with not knowing the answer to these new questions, their quest never ends.
For the history of art class, we had to create our a city that was centered on an idea. My idea is the endless effort of humans in trying to gain knowledge of everything, but never coming close to it. The name of the city comes from Sarasvati, the hindu goddess knowledge.
